Toyota Auris

The Toyota Auris is a new compact car that was released on February 1 2007 in the UK. It replaced the Toyota Corolla hatchback in several continents and the Toyota Corolla Runx in Japan. With a fresh design and upmarket features including an MP3/WMA player. Toyota aims to position the Auris at the higher end of the lower-medium segment to lure buyers from the Volkswagen Golf and the Alfa Romeo 147. An upmarket version called the Toyota Blade is also sold in Japan as a replacement for the Toyota Allex which was, in turn, the replacement for the Toyota Sprinter. The higher end T180 model went on sale in the UK during April 2007.
